Eleanor Mustang
"Eleanor" is the code name of "1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500 Fastback" in "Gone in 60 Seconds " movie showed on 2000 year.
In the movie, Memphis Raines (Nicolas Cage) is a car thief and he has to steal 50 cars in one night to save his brother. They have a list of these 50 cars and they use code names for each car. These code names consist of woman names. "Eleanor" code named car "Shelby GT 500" is Memphis's dream and this car is a passion for him. He also tried to steal it before and he failed. So he leaves stealing it last. They steal other 49 cars and at the end Memphis Raines steals "Eleanor" with his old love Sway - Sara Wayland (Angelina Jolie). He steals the car but he has to escape from the cops. "Gone in 60 Seconds" movie contains awesome escape scenes. Especially the scene with "Eleanor" was perfect. Memphis pushes the "GO - BABY - GO" button and switches the nitrous on. The car speeds up to "160 miles/h = 240 km/h" by nitrous. Finally he gets rid of the cops and delivers the last car "Eleanor" and saves his brother's life.
After this movie, "Eleanor" became a dream for many people. Some Eleanor fans still buy parts of "Eleanor" and built a new "Eleanor". Body kits, mirrors, wheels, steering wheel, pedal covers, nitrous switch, emblems for glovebox, front fenders, and rearpanel etc... Parts of "Eleanor" are still for sale.
